Hello SGA
The online handle I choose to go by is GatheringCircle. It was a suggestion by Xbox Live, which I liked. My steam ID is gatheringcircle, my BFBC2 ID is gatheringcircle. My BF 3 ID is gatheringcircle. I live in the state of Pennsylvania in the United States of America (Time Zone: EST). I am 17 years old. I have heard that recently some teenagers have been trouble for your clan. I do not wish to be any trouble for your clan. I am pretty sure you will not notice my age for my voice is very deep and my personality is like that of a sponge so I will probably end up being a clone of someone in here that I speak with a lot. I also understand your ideals of teamwork and am very intrigued to see this in action as I do not have much experience with a cohesive team.
Now for the fun part. The part where I talk about DoTA 2. To say I enjoy DoTA is an understatement. If you talked with me you would assume I have played the original DoTA. To many people's surprise I have not, they merely think this because, one, I am skilled when it comes to DoTA 2 but only in mechanics, as I have said I do not have a team experience so I am only skilled as an individual. I am not used to working in a team environment. The other reason people think I have played the original is, as I have stated I am like a sponge. I have heard people who have played the original and now I act just like them, the more I learn the more convincing my ruse. The only thing that really gives me away is that I am unfamiliar with the abbreviations for some of the heroes and I have not played a select few of them.
I am quite intrigued by this DoTA school I have heard of, for I always end up coaching people in public games in the ways of last hitting, auto attacking, control groups, when to push, when to play aggressive, when to initiate, when to gank, what to buy and what heroes one should play and where they should lane. As you can imagine this doesn't do much in pubs for they sometimes do not speak English or are not interested in how to play the game. I may be of some assistance in this DoTA school if knowledge of those topics is needed. Lastly, in regards to DoTA 2 I fully expect to not be the best or maybe even close, skill wise, to some of the people in SGA, I think I am good at DoTA but I might not have encountered some of the better players out there.
For the other games you guys play, namely Battlefield BC 2, BF 3, L4D 1 and 2, and Day Z I do own those listed games. I am not skilled in any of them. I can play better than average but I am nowhere near as good in those games as I am in DoTA. I will still play them, though as required, by the clan.
Lastly, if there are any historical scholars here I am always in the mood to talk about history. I study specifically in the German experience of World War II and the Roman Republic/Empire. I know far too much about those subjects. So if you ever need help in that area of history come to me and I will sort it out for you.

Re: Hello SGA
Hi there Gathering!
I am pleased to welcome you to our humble home. You already have the Teamspeak information, so that's done. I suggest you join our BF3 platoon here: http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf3/platoon/2832655391301202113/ and also add everyone on there to your friends. Well, if not everyone, then at least myself and -SGA- General Gantari, who is the leader of our BF3 division. That way, you will be able to easily join us whenever we are holding a BF3 night or just feel like playing it.
Do you have any of the expansions such as Back to Karkand, Close Quarters, and Armored Kill?
So welcome, and enjoy.

I do not own any expansions but if I enjoy playing BF 3 in this group setting it won't be too hard for me to acquire them.

Good news! See you tomorrow then, for some scarily team-oriented BF3 goodness!

Well, hello there! and welcome! You sound like a great match for our clan! I, unfortunately, do not play dota, but i do play pretty much everything else. Our bf3 nights have been really fun, so hopefully, we'll see you tonight (or sunday, or both!).

Re: Hello SGA
Welcome new friend. I'm sure you'll have a blast playing with some of our Dota-heads. I don't play Dota, but will be glad to have you on our BF3 squad.
You mentioned you also play Day Z. Be sure to check out DayZ Thursdayz for some late-night post-apocalyptic survivalism.
We'll be getting on teamspeak at 6PM Pacific time tonight. The closer your character is to Elektro or Cherno, the easier it will be to meet up.
Once again, welcome, and I hope to meet you in-game very soon.
