Whiskey lovers...
I know we have a few among us. What are your faves?
Here are my preferred liquid treats:
Té Bheag
This is my favorite of all considering the price at which it is sold, a bit above $30. It is better than Johnny Walker Gold Label (well, to MY taste buds anyway) and is a fraction of the price. It's a blend, so expect a bit of everything. Here's a review:

Glenfarclas 105
I just picked this one up today, seeing it in the store and recalling having read some high praise of it. It's a single malt, and is "cask strength", which means it's not diluted with water the way a most whiskeys are in order to achieve an exact 40% alcohol. Well, this one is 60% and reminds me of the best Cognac I've ever had. VERY yummy, and I might make this one my favorite of all. Let me have a few glasses first just to make sure...

Glenfiddich 15 year old
Not much to say here, smooth and delicious, I think this Whiskey's reputation doesn't need my words.

So guys, what are your best buys? I want to know...

Re: Whiskey lovers...
Whatever Bourbon is on sale for cheap, usually Ezra Brooks... Classy on the rocks or goes down smooth with an RC Cola.

I don't drink liquor any longer. I enjoyed drinking Canadian whiskies, especially Forty Creek.

The Glenfarclas 105 which is 120 proof: http://www.glenfarclas.co.uk/pages/78,Glenfarclas_105.html

You can see at the bottom right that it is 60% alcohol per volume, which is 120 on the US proofing scale.
For further information on this topic, wikipedia has this to say about the US proof system:
The Glenfarclas 105 gets its numerals from its old-UK based proof: 105. 105 * 4 = 420 / 7 = 60 % alcohol per volume.
It is very, VERY good. It isn't that pricey at $75, considering that it contains one and a half bottle...

Alcohol proof is a measure of how much alcohol (ethanol) is contained in an alcoholic beverage. The term was originally used in the United Kingdom and was defined as 7/4 times the alcohol by volume (ABV). The UK now uses the ABV standard instead of alcohol proof. In the United States, alcoholic proof is defined as twice the percentage of ABV. The measurement of alcohol content and the statement of this content on the bottle labels of distilled beverages (also called liquors or spirits) is regulated by law in the United States. The purpose of the regulation is to provide pertinent information to the consumer.
